A 2.75⭐️ rounded up. This is a head empty read where you’re just there for the shifter smut. I enjoyed it well enough and will read the following books.
The plot is decent and the smut is ok enough, but the writing is all tell and no show. Very repetitive with some sentences literally copy pasted within the same scenes. Hopefully the writing improves as the books go on. A pet peeve I have is when two characters who interact have super similar names— Kade & Kane. I kept getting confused in the beginning. Just give characters unique names for convenience sake, abeg.
