An early Mitford satire on the english and class. However, this time the focus is on british fascism and the political landscape of the early 1930s.

While the farcical scenes are humorous, it’s understandable that Nancy Mitford declined to republish during her lifetime. It’s strange to think of a time when Oswald Mosley and Hitler were treated as a joke.
