The Family Experiment
by John Marrs
I thought this book was so great! I highly recommend reading this. I love this type of story much more than Dark Matter. I thought the ending was great, and I really loved how we had some type of closure for each couple/character in the book. I loved the way the author explored complex themes of AI, parenthood, trafficking , and more. I listed the content warnings, but genuinely, they were not overwhelming, and I thought they were handled well.
This was my first book by this author in this interconnected standalone series (at least, that's how I think it is categorized), but I wish I had started with the first book in the "series."
