The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers

2.25

I'll be honest, I listened to the audiobook of this book and I missed ~quite~ a bit. I'm not a huge sci-fi person so I was hesitant to read and honestly it wasn't my cup of tea. It wasn't giving in the ways I wanted it to. The premise was cool, workers on a space ship tunneling wormholes (aka making space roads). Maybe it was the characters, or lack of plot, but it just wasn't the best read. I finished the book because I didn't want to DNF, but I wouldn't recommend the book. I will DNF the series. The first book was more than enough for me. I get that this is definitely up other people's alley, but there were times where I couldn't care less what happened.
