Kill Yer Pumpkins: a Halloween collection by Judith Sonnet
5.0
I really enjoyed this from Judith. I honestly think it might be one of my top favorites I've read from her (The Clown Hunt and No One Rides For Free) because it's such a good story for being short stories that are all connected. The ending really sealed the deal.
While it is a collection, I would just consider it a novel broken into parts because it all becomes one big story. The stories are all different but yet still fun.
She states it is not as extreme as her other works, but that's what makes it stand out. I like the call back to like classic Halloween stories where the intention is to scare, not gross out.
