Crazy Sexy Love by K.L. Grayson

I read and loved KL Grayson's A Touch of Fate series, so I was happy to stumble upon this new series from her, especially when I heard that she was going to be a part of Kristen Proby's crossover series next spring. This was the first book in a new series that takes place in Texas and involves a bull rider, something I don't have much experience understanding or reading about, but I found that I enjoyed it a lot!

Rhett and Monroe (Mo) were childhood friends and sweethearts. When he broke out on the PBR, fate- in the form of a manager- broke them apart. Six years later, after a concussion and shoulder injury, Rhett returned to the small town of Heaven to rehab. Then, he found out about all of the difficulties that Mo had endured while he was off chasing his dream. Hers had disappeared due to family circumstances. They rekindled their relationship, but things aren't always easy.

I very much liked both of the main characters. I think what put this as top read for me was the relationship that Monroe had with her father. I found myself crying on multiple occasions through their interactions. It greatly affected me, and made me love Monroe even more.

I can't wait to see where the rest of these characters go, and hope to get more updates from Rhett and Mo in following books in this series of standalones!
