Fantastic military scifi set in H. Beam Piper's Terro-Human Empire. I get that the colonialism (especially when you know that its based on the Sepoy uprising) can be hard for modern readers to swallow, but take into context that 1) its written in the 50s and 2)Piper as a vastly knowledgable student of history and was likely trying to accurately portray human behavior in a science fiction setting (treating the four-armed lizard-like Ullerans like we treat each other) rather than endorsing the behavior.
