I honestly don't know what to say about When Haru Was Here. When I was reading I was kinda curfuffled the entire time, especially with the time skips right at the beginning of the book. It felt like situations were continually repeating themself. I didn't like any of the characters until the last couple chapters of the book. There was something that kept me reading though. I like the ending but I don't know if that's enough to redeem the rest of the book or if it even fits the character and the story. Overall I don't know what to rate this book. It was very confusing.

Edit: I forgot to about this when writing the review, the text. I don't know if my book was misprinted but if so l've never seen a misprint quite like it. At the beginning of every chapter and some paragraphs the first line was in a different font. It was also not
consistent sometimes the whole first line would be in a different font sometimes just a few words. it was bizarre and inconsistent, really took me out of the story since I was just confused why anyone would do this in a book. Was it a code? Is there a reason because I've really thought about it and I cannot understand.
