Lena and Conrad's story is both a slow burn and fast paced-if that is even possible; a definite page-turner. A spicy sports romance is absolutely what you are going to get. The supporting characters are so well written, and I want to see their stories unfold more as well. However, a quick read, the plot had good depth and didn’t feel rushed at all! I recommend this book for those who enjoy spicy sports romance, rekindled love (2nd chance), finding family and forced proximity. Also this book is a absolute tear jerker in the best way so be prepared.
