Falling for the Forward: A Fake Marriage Hockey Romance by Brenda Rothert

emotional funny hopeful lighthearted medium-paced

4.0

Thank you, @hambright_pr and @brendarothert, for this ARC.

Falling for the Forward is the first book I’ve read by Brenda Rothert. It is a short but sweet sports romance with some sprinkles of spice. I loved Suki and Carter, as well as the family elements, the most. Carter becomes the guardian of his three nieces after his sister passes away, and their father is not in the picture. Suki is their nanny during the week and is the family’s missing piece to help heal.

Read this book if you enjoy:
-Sports romance
-Hockey romance
-Single Dad/Uncle
-Marriage of convenience
-Grumpy/sunshine
-Only one bed
-Found family
-Great friend group
-Nieces you will be obsessed with
-Handsome but not-so micro pig
