Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky

4.0

I’m waffling between 3 and 4 stars. This one was truly good—enjoyable characters, an excruciating inner conflict, beautiful prose, and all the things that attract me to a novel. HOWEVER, the dialogue and the sheer quantity of babbling is a little off-putting. There isn’t enough plot to sustain this book, and on top of that, it’s just boring at times. So....3.5 Stars? Quality is great. Just boring. XD

SECOND READING:
I loved it but the ENDING was so painful and just...I get that it's really hard to do this kind of ending, but not like thiiiiiis.
(Dounia and Razumihin though I WILL GO DOWN ON THAT SHIP.)
