Second time read. First time review - I think?
Either way, I still ended up loving this book!
Dragon Marked is the first of the Supernatural Prison Series. I forgot how much I missed the compass boys - but hot damn, I did! Okay, so there's Jessa, who is a wolf shifter (aka the wolf princess) and her four best friends (the compass brothers) and uh.. she gets a whole lot of information dropped on her in one day.
1. Her mom is back.
2. She has a sister.
3. This sister isn't actually her younger sister.. but her twin.
4. HER DAD KNEW THE WHOLE FUCKING TIME!
Yeah, I probably would've freaked the freak out and shifted too. However, I also don't have four hot ass brothers looking out for me either. Of course, I was shipping the ship out of her and Braxton. Sorry boys, you were all cute and adorable but there can only be one for my girl Jessa. Plus I was shipping Max with Mischa. NOW Mischa was so annoying the second time around. She probably annoyed the shit out of me the first time I read this book.. but since I didn't write a review I will make it known now.. that she annoyed me.
The other brothers, Jake and Tyson are equally adorable and hot. However, I know that there is someone out there for them. It isn't Jessa but their friendship bond is what gives me life. I love how their friendship means more to them than anything. They are their own pack and I envied them. I want that!
Then of course this book delivers a good mystery and a couple of twists. I like how twins, triplets, or quadruplets.. are rare. I mean, in my eyes they seem rare. I just really liked how this book made them even rarer - especially in the shifter world.
I could probably go on and on about how much I loved this book but I wont. I need to move onto other book reviews.. and obviously, the second book of this series! I'm loving rereading it because I really enjoyed it the first time. I'm just hoping that I continue to love it!
