When I started reading this book, it had me worried I wouldn’t like it. But as I listened more, I became more invested; until by the end it had me in tears and I was sad it was finished. This story really highlights what it was like for women in the 1950’s. I can’t decide who was my favorite character, but it might be 6:30. They all had flaws, but their character development was executed brilliantly.
Graphic: Rape, Violence
