Teen- friendly version of Handmaid’s Tale.
Slow start but picks up about 4/5 of the way through the book. I loved Violet the strong protagonist but found it a bit too formulaic that she falls for the rugged security guy. Also, although this is a YA novel (I think) there’s one very steamy scene which seems more appropriate for an older teen. A few fun twists and turns and, although I didn’t love the book, it did leave me hanging and wanting to read the next one in the series!
