The Book of Azrael by Amber V. Nicole
5.0
My initial reaction after reading this book is I have no words.....
The characters throughout this book were incredible and I absolutely loved most of them. I adored Dianna Samkiel and Gabby. and the attachment I felt for the side characters is just unmatched, Logan was such a good side character and he and Nev have my heart. Then we have Vincent who was sort of a mysterious character throughout this book but I really enjoyed him. Also, can we just talk about how good the villain is in this story, Kaden is such an interesting and perfect choice as the villain.
The world-building was perfect and I enjoyed every second of it as well as learning about the magic systems and the many different beings they had in this book. The story genuinely immersed me the whole entire time. I read the majority of this book in one day that's how obsessed I was.
The character development for both Samkiel and Dianna ended up being perfect and I enjoyed watching both characters grow and learn how to trust each other and open up more about their struggles.
also...that ending?? immediately starting the second book.
