Was a little disappointed that the book was marketed as a thriller, as this didn’t carry strong thriller vibes. It is worth the read if you enjoy learning about indigenous cultures & having some self reflection while reading! I’ll definitely be reading the sequel & I would recommend this book, but it’s definitely not a thriller imo. I think it carries more of a fiction / culture essence with some intense moments.
