My Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Reading Order: You must read these in order.

General Thoughts: I had super high expectations going into this one. I love JLA, and I have read and loved everything she's ever written. I knew this series was originally supposed to be a trilogy, but there was too much story to tell, so it became four books. I wanted to reread all the books before this came out, so I was delayed in getting to this one. Which is a real shame, because this book is fabulous.

I love Sera and Nyktos so much. This book is more focused on Sera for obvious reasons. And it's a tough read in many ways. Sera is in the hands of Kolis, who is an utterly awful human, and so it's difficult to read. I thought JLA did a great job with it though. This book was more internally focused and focused on Sera's mental struggles while being Kolis's captive. It sets up for a lot of action in this fourth book and I can't wait to read it.

JLA doesn't miss, and this is no exception.

Spice Meter:❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Some spicy scenes, but not as graphic or frequent as some. But definitely spicier than some in the genre. Not as detailed.
