Another Time, Another Place by Jo Lovett

4.0

Liv is moving to Paris for her job, not because she has to but because she's kind of forced into a situation she didn't want. While recycling old clothes she and a stranger find themselves inadvertently locked in a shed while trying to rescue a cat. As they wait for help, the more they talk, the more Liv realizes the instant connection they have. It feels like fate but the timing is wrong. Over the next eight years Liv and Ben find themselves in the wrong situation even though fate throws them together time and again.

While plots like this one can seem repetitive and frustrating, this one was different in that their meetings seems to draw them ever closer, and it becomes clear that something is holding Ben back. I loved the way the story wrapped up. It's a feel-good, charming book.

Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
