The lack of sensitivity in dealing with rape and trauma was honestly repulsive and any plot progression or character growth was cancelled out by that.  The more I thought about it, the worse I felt.

I’m also really confused about how we’re supposed to skip past the one-liner flashback about a main romantic interest raping someone?  And we’re expected to just keep swooning?
