Into the Storm by Melanie Moreland

4.0

Wow!! I went into this thinking it'd be a simple story about a girl with amnesia who meets this guy who helps her in a storm. They fall in love, she gets her memory back and they stay together.
But it is so much more than that. For the length of the book, I'm super pleased there was an actual deep plot cause 300+ pages on her with amnesia would get old.
The reason the character is in an accident in the first place is because an abusive husband. So she leaves while she's able to but a storm starts and I forces her into an accident where she loses all memory of herself and her life. This is where she meets Joshua, who (thankfully) has his own issues he needs healing from. And I won't say more after that. Just know this story has a deeper and more emotional plot than just two people falling in love.
The writing overall is really good, but I found in parts that Joshua would tell us stuff, instead of showing us. If there was more showing in this, it'd be an easy 5 stars.
