Sharing Hailey

There are times when books are so painfully average you can't help but go middle of the road with just about everything. I love menage books and I seek them out constantly. When I saw this one attached to a blog post somewhere I immediately went and purchased it. Eager to read it I dove in almost immediately. Unfortunately it was painfully average. I've read the general premise loads of times in menage books and there was very little to make it stand out in my mind.
The basic premise surrounds Hailey on vacation after breaking up with her abusive boyfriend. Her brother's two best friends, Mark and Tony are there and make an interesting proposition. They propose a relationship between them and Hailey since they know she'd never choose one. As their relationship moves into the more public sphere, her abusive ex decides he wants her back and he won't share.
Basically, Hailey, Tony and Mark were flat characters. There was no reason for me to care about them at all. In fact, now as I try to recall the characters I couldn't begin to tell you what they looked like. I'm sure Hailey was hot. I'm sure Tony and Mark were smokin' hot, hung, and incredibly caring.
I could spend a long time discussing the plot or the characters but in the end, I would be at the same point I am now. It was okay. The sex scenes were okay. The characters were blah. I may or may not choose to read Ms. King again. It was a solid three stars only for the fact I couldn't find anything wrong with it.
