I don’t think this was as good as the first 5 books in the series but I still had a good time reading it. The world building was great, plot interesting and I still like the writing.
I struggled with Dani as a character. She’s 14 and acted like a 14 year old. So extremely bratty, but I’ll give the author props for doing a convincing job. I didn’t like how the love interest is 10 years older and was lusting after a 14 year old. There was nothing acted on, even very minimal flirting but it’s still kind of weird.
I’m looking forward to the rest of the books though.
