Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.

lol.. honestly i mostly stopped because the main character was so annoying. she’s so “i’m american i’m different of course i’ll ignore these silly local stories,” which i get is necessary for the story but i think it could’ve been written in a more elegant manner. it also annoyed me that she wasn’t used to her title even tho she’d lived as a titled person on this island for SEVEN YEARS. it sounded like she’d just married this rich dude yesterday.
