The Mahabharata Secret by Christopher C. Doyle
2.0
adventurous slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

What a disappointing read. Except for the few chapters at the start and the end, the story never shifts into the next gear. There's barely any exploration of the main characters so I never really cared for any of them.
To add to this, the title of the book is so misleading. It's vaguely based on one reference made to Mahabharata which the writer calls it as secret.

I've read Son of Bhrigu (The Pataala Prophecy) written by the same author and enjoyed his style of writing. But this book never got me hooked. Somehow managed to finish it.
