Wow this was so good. All the hard science of The Martian but much more emotional too.
I really enjoyed how the amnesia gave flashback revelations, a clever way of interspersing two different timelines together. The past timeline back on Earth adds some great human interaction to the otherwise sole survivor situation.
Also I love Rocky, he's so cute.
I loved this book so much, I found it hard to put down. Highly recommend.
I'm going to have to get a copy of Artemis now, even though I've heard it's not as good as Project Hail Mary or The Martian but I'm keen to get caught up on all of Weir's work.
