I like the premise of the book (fake dating to real crush), and it was super cute to notice how they slowly fell in actual love with each other!!! I feel like I haven't seen a fake dating set-up be queer like this before, especially since one of the girls isn't out to her parents.

The pacing of the book was kinda weird tho, with incredibly short chapters and indiscriminate time jumps. The characterizations were kinda weird too, like "ooh one is popular and the other is a nerd" but the popular one was just kind and kinda shy? Like she didn’t talk to anyone besides her parents and two friends. And the nerd was a massive bitch.
