I really enjoyed this book.

It had so many twists and turns and there are several areas that gave me great anxiety wondering if Papillon would succeed in his quest to escape.

I also got a bit impatient at some points willing the story to go a bit faster so that I could get to know how the ultimate victory happened.

Henri Charrière's writing style makes you feel like you are with him and he is giving you his life story while at the same time you are in an adventure of some sort.

I am looking forward to acquiring book 2 and continuing the adventure that is Papillon's life.

I would definitely recommend this book 100%.
