Okay, this was a step up from the previous volume, and it does look like this series is starting to wind down! This one picks up immediately after the previous chapter, and I found it a little amusing that I was just as confused about what was happening as Maika. That said, these chapters were easier to follow, and much of the story continued from before the sojourn into the spirit world. Old characters came back, so once more I had to try to figure out who half of them were, but for the most part, I breezed through this volume with more clarity than usual. That is quite the feat, considering I'm usually left wondering wtf is going on at the end of the collection.
