What did you think of the book?
The cover gives off "Little Red Riding Hood" vibes, but thematically, the book is more of a "Beauty and the Beast" vibe. It's a decent debut book. I think the claim of "dark matriarchal fantasy" is overblown, and fortunately, I did not see that description for this book until after I read it. Otherwise, I think I would have been a bit miffed, to say the least.
If you're a cottagecore girlie/druid main, you may like this book! Redarys...is a stupid name. I'm sorry the rest of the names used are good but that one....is so jarring.

What was most interesting/intriguing/challenging/surprising?
Belivable sisters as well
as the ace-coded side pairing treated with respect.

What are you going to take away from this book?<
I'm sorry Red/Redarys is an incredibly stupid name. Overall, an easy read and it broke my reading slump so yay?
