Little Demon in the Details
by Nordika Night
This book was really different from what I could have expected, I was worried about some Daddy kink but it was not the case, Blake even hated it so that was perfect for me. This story has an interesting way to talk about Mercer’s trauma, his reaction, his coping mechanisms, there is a concrete explanation but also a journey towards acceptance and healing.
Blake’s family is quite special, now that his brother has to marry into a powerful family he suspects that his father has a plan. After 5 years away, he never thought that when he comes back, he would take care of a huge peculiar young man. Mercer is put aside by all his family, spent many years in behaviour facilities causing him to have various disorders which he answered by becoming a real manipulative brat. And with Blake, he truly found his opponent, there is the development of a kind of game between the two, where Mercer fights for attention and Blake makes him work for it, to help him overcome his fears and most of all reconquered his persona.
This book is a fight for identity, self-confidence, affirmation - with a strict role in the bedroom but both characters have a dominant side in their own way !!
Overall I loved the book, just find it a little bit too long, I think I would love to read more about the brothers (again awesome brothers
