A Curse for True Love by Stephanie Garber

What the heck was that. Feels like an underwhelming end to the first two books which I devoured in a week and left with me with that enchanted, cant stop thinking about these books feeling.

-I do not need Apollo's loser PoV
-so many lose ends. Im ok with some (
like Jacks's appples- if its not going to be an important plot point dont retroactively try to make something of it. But what of basically all of the supporting characters?I dont need a neat bow but we just forget Marisol exists...

-where was the pining and yearning?
-
i did actually like the kiss scene but I felt like we needer another and some more evangeline/jacks moments. The one bed scene could have been way better. And some grovelling from Jacks at the after giving Eva the runaround/being mean to her

-felt very lazy to
have a jealous woman plotting Jacks's downfall and after only one hint

-The plot felt messy and a bit nonsensical.
some things felt too easy like, Evangline getting her memories and it being ok for Eva and Jacks to kiss because she
..believed? Other things felt hard and overdone like the two hearts and Jacks trying to destroy his heart? Why exactly after literally turning back time for this girl

-Jacks's personality dissapeared
-ok i will give props for the Jacks's favourite day 🥲
-Especially in the second half, it really lacked the whimsy of the rest of the series
