The Anthropocene Reviewed: Essays on a Human-Centered Planet by John Green

I thought I was done reading John Green books (why? idk. felt like I couldn't connect with them anymore, I guess.) but everyone kept talking about this one so I finally caved. It was incredible. Each chapter is a different, often mundane, aspect of human life that Green rates from 1-5 stars. But of course, in the end they're not just mundane things, but are essential parts of being alive and what make life simultaneously tragic, beautiful, and worth living.

PS. If you've ever considered reading any of Matt Haig's books, just read this instead. Trust me.
