Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes

Many, many tears. In fact I am still crying as I write this. This was definitely a slow-paced book (and a 9 hour audiobook!!), and it would be easy for me to put it down in temptation to read a more riveting book. However, it was definitely more insightful and had take away messages as opposed to the brain-candy teen books I typically read. I feel as if I have gained something after completing this book, and that is always a good feeling to walk away with.
