Based on a True Story by Norm Macdonald
1.0
I clearly don't understand Norm's humor. I thought the beginning of this book was amusing when I realized basically every part of the book was a lie. He just made everything up. It got old fast and I don't care what kind of comic you are/were, jokes about rape aren't funny in any way whatsoever. Having a whole chapter about it is even less funny. I wish this had actually been about his life because there's maybe 10% of truth with him talking about his film career. That was the most interesting part but seriously...making up 90% of this book with weird stories of stalking Sarah Silverman/being in love with her, going to jail for hiring a hitman and having a multi-million dollar gambling problem.
This was just a very disappointing book.
