Not a Happy Family
by Shari Lapena
This was like watching a bad sitcom of terrible people played by third rate actors arguing pettily with each other for 300 pages.
The writing is wooden and lifeless, the characters are caricatures, and the plot is predictable. Bonus star for Irena, because she was the only likable character in this mess.
