Gameboard of the Gods by Richelle Mead I haven’t taken this long to read a book in quite a while. I don't really have a Love/Hate relationship with Gameboard of the Gods, but maybe a Bored/Really Liked one. The story starts out so SLOW; I never thought I would get through it. It didn’t help that it is written with a third party narrative. I’ve never been a fan, and it almost found its way to my DNF shelf. But then things started getting a little crazy and my interest perked up.
The story is set in a dystopian type world, taking place in what they call the ‘Decline’. It takes a while to find out what caused this, but I could see it happening in our future.
