Truly, I found this book to be pretty middling at best in terms of the writing and characters. Just A Standard Mystery Novel ™ that I’d give a standard 3.0 to. Then a twist on top of the twist got my ass in the last like. 5 pages of the book, and made me hoot and holler with delight. So it gets bumped up a bit in rating because it was just a fun little add on at the end there. Was it worth getting through the rest pf the book for? Probably not. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this book to anyone, but it isn't horrible by any means. Just nothing terribly spectacular.
