I love the world of Outlander. It is richly immersive and full of beautiful characters. With these later books, the plot has been wandering with much of it being a heavy character study. I love character studies but this at time felt that it lacked forward movement. I will continue to read any and all Outlander books because I love these characters so much but I'm not as invested in the plot as much as I was in the beginning.
