Give me a book that is on the slower side and has so much depth even if “nothing really happens” - and I’m sold. Let’s not get it twisted, this book is sad as hell. Even so, it’s beautifully written. It really beautifully portrays the fragility of life. It really shows how the people in our lives shape our thoughts and views. I loved the reality of this story and it makes you stop and think. At least it did for me. I thought about my own life, my interactions with those around me, the fragility like I mentioned. I’m rambling, but I i just thought this was a fantastic book.
