To Love Jason Thorn by Ella Maise

3.0

This is a cute one-time read for when you want to pick up something simple and easy-going. It has a good amount of butterflies in the stomach moments; however, I felt like the author rushed to end the book, and there were a lot of scenes that felt incomplete. For example, how did they clear out Jason's scandle or the fact that I would have loved to see a little more from the reunion scene between Jason and Olive's family.

I had a fun time reading about the spark and connection between Olive and Jason, and I also loved the friendship angle between Olive and Lucy.

The reason why I picked up this book was solely based on the two tropes: 'brother's best friend' or 'fake marriage'. I won't say the book was bad, but I wish the ending was rushed.
