I enjoyed this one but I can't say I was gripped by it until around the 50-60% mark. I guessed quite a few of the revelations made, some I even guessed whilst reading the first book. Once the action picked up I was intrigued to see what was going to happen and how the author was going to play it out. I'm still interested to read the rest of the series and find out what happens. The characters are still enjoyable and Evie definitely felt a bit more mature in this book, she did still have her perfectly time comedic moments.I'm enjoying getting to see more of The Villain, even if he is a stubborn sod.
