Emily of New Moon by L.M. Montgomery
4.0
Poor Emily Starr will always be compared to her author's iconic Anne Shirley, but she deserves her own place in classic girls' literature. Like Anne, she uses her creativity to overcome her tragic background. Although an extremely talented young writer, she must learn to navigate her art and personal life to find her definition of success. It's something women are still trying to figure out. Looking forward to following her story over the subsequent two books in the Emily trilogy.
