I loved this book! I was a bit unsure of whether I would like it or not because I can find some historical fiction quite boring, but this book had everything I needed. I loved the lyrical storytelling, that really immersed my into the character of Eli Bell, and once a bit of plot got going, I was on the edge of my seat. The pacing of this book was very enjoyable, as it took time to really develop the world and the character of the book.
