Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah
by Richard Bach
I read Jonathan Livingstone Seagull so long ago that I don't even remember anything about it except that my idealistic young self loved it. I've had this secondhand store find on my shelf for a few years and finally decided to read it. I think in my 20s I would have been all starry eyed about it, but the older, wiser me just thought "meh". It's kind of entertaining, and it has that little bit of mystery (did it really happen or is it just a fantasy?) but I'm kind of over the whole "everything is an illusion" school of thinking. Nice effort, but I'm happy to pass this book on now/tick it off my list and not wonder anymore.
