This book is full of unnecessary details. It seemed to slog on forever. The author could have cut out a lot of needless financial details, but by about halfway through, I just didn't care about all the killer's business and financial crimes and manipulations.
That being said, the pattern was clear, and I did like that the author got into his relationships with the women in his life. I wish we’d heard more about women’s backgrounds and less about the killers.
Overall, it’s not bad, but not amazing either. The abridged audiobook might be the way to go for this particular book, instead of the unabridged one I listened to.

Narrator Rating: 2.75 stars
While the narrator wasn't bad, he was an odd choice for this book. Why they went with a male narrator is beyond me. I think a female narrator would have been a better choice, especially since the book is not told from the male point of view.
