I don't normally read quest-books, so I didn't enjoy it much.
I had a hard time to connect with the characters, and wish we had more space for the emotional side of the story. Sometimes a very emotional scene went by too quickly, because the quest had to move forward.
The world building is quite vast and well done, and was my favourite part of the book.
