The Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals
by Michael Pollan
not a page turner. Interesting at times, painstakingly slow at others. Preachy at times. He spends so much time slowly building a case against corn and modern day farming and food production, but then never quite makes a case. The book takes an odd turn focused on his efforts to produce a meeting completely from hunting and gathering. While mildly interesting, he left me asking where the solutions were. What could the average person on a budget do to not be a part of the problem.
