This book exceeded my expectations despite of being mainly retelling of the games where the main character appears. I honestly don't know what else to say besides that I loved every moment I read it. This said, I am a big fan of Assassin's Creed and even wrote two research works about the game series, so my opinion might be a little bit biased. Can't wait to read the rest of 11 books I have at the moment. The thing I appreciated the most about this specific book was the background it gave me about Altair, and more in-depth view onto his character? One thing is to play the game, completely another thing is to read about the emotions the master assassin was feeling and his doubts.
