Burn It Down by Leia King

This. This is the dark romance RH/WC that I can completely class as elite.

The characters each hold a special spot of my soul after reading this. The intelligence. The empathy. And the sheer understanding for each other, has this sitting so far above most books I’ve read this year. ( the love and care reminds me of how I felt when I first read Losers).

Where most why choose fall victim to OW drama and outside elements of persons making ridiculous decisions or it becoming almost unbelievable, this author shows the intelligence of her writing in the form of every single character, how they deal with the mechanics of their relationships and how they deal with everything dark and twisted that happens and show that they’re not the naive 20 year olds you reading in most university/academy based novels, the emotional intelligence of all the characters is another level.

The plot it’s self is brilliant, all be it dark at times and heartbreaking, at no point did I feel like I was just reading a WC/RH that is just smut with a background plot. The plot is the true drive for the romance and I love how that made it such a full and encompassing trilogy.

This trilogy deserves all the hype and praise.
