I think, that of all the Supernatural tie-ins I've read so far, this one is the best so far.
The plot was thrilling and interesting. It grabbed me from page one and at no time it got boring.
The characterisation was great - I actually could hear Sam and Dean talking and see them doing all these things which was not the case with some of the other tie-ins. Also, I'm in love with Xochi. Kickass, wonderful huntress. Can I have her in the show please? Pretty please?
The monsters were different because they come from a different culture.
And the H/C? Oh my, the Dean H/C was great, what with his soul dying and overall worrying about soulless!Sam. ♥ *big happy sigh*
It just was good and I had a very good time reading the book. :)
